Wealthbox and LPL ClientWorks integration features

  • Financial Account Sync: Account details like account type, model, investment objective, beneficiaries, retirement information, and gain/loss details can be viewed from the Wealthbox contact record. This is a one-way sync in which Wealthbox consumes financial data from LPL and displays it on the LPL Financial tab on the contact record in Wealthbox.

  • Two-Way Contact Sync: A two-way data integration that allows Wealthbox and LPL ClientWorks to share contact data automatically. This means advisors don’t have to enter or reconcile information across platforms manually.

Activating the ClientWorks and Wealthbox Integration

. To fully activate the integration, all three of the following steps must be completed:

  • Step 1: Complete the advisor registration process.
    Each Wealthbox user will need to complete this step once. It does not need to be completed for each feature.
  • Step 2: Link ClientWorks Clients to Wealthbox.
    Only one user per account will need to complete this.
  • Step 3: Enable each integration feature setting in Wealthbox.
    Each Wealthbox user will need to complete this step for each feature they would like enabled
    Users have the option to enable just the financial account sync, just the two-way contact sync, or both

Step 1: Complete the advisor registration process

Each Wealthbox user will need to complete this step

In order to activate the integration, you must complete the advisor registration process, which can be initiated from either ClientWorks or Wealthbox.

  1. Log in to ClientWorks.
    Note: You can reach ClientWorks from within Wealthbox by clicking the 3 dot icon in the top right corner, clicking on ‘Applications’, and then clicking ‘Connect’ in the LPL Financial application.

  2. Go to the Wealthbox CRM Resource Center page and click on ‘Advisor Registration.'

  3. Once you are on the Integration Dashboard page click ‘Register’ in the Wealthbox widget.

  4. Accept the LPL Terms and Conditions.

     

  5. Accept the Wealthbox Terms and Conditions.

     

  6. Registration Successful pop-up – Click on Clients to get navigated to the Clients tab to start linking your clients to Wealthbox, or click on the Wealthbox Resource Center page to get additional information, training, and resources.

 

Step 2: Link ClientWorks Clients to Wealthbox

Only one user per account will need to complete this.
 

Step 3: Enable the desired integration settings in Wealthbox

Each Wealthbox user will need to complete this step
Users have the option to enable just the financial account sync, just the two-way contact sync, or both
