Wealthbox Mail is an email companion tool that complements your CRM and existing email functionality. Pro, Premier, and Enterprise users have access to Wealthbox mail.
Features of the Wealthbox mail integration include:

Two-Way Email Sync: for automatic syncing with your individual and shared email inboxes.

- You can connect emails with Wealthbox Contacts and share them with coworkers, or keep them private.

The email sync does not capture emails within the CRM. When a user is removed, an email sync is disconnected or if an email is deleted from your inbox, emails are removed from Wealthbox.

Email-to-CRM actions: Create a task, schedule an event, start a workflow, create an opportunity or set a reminder for a specific email and then link it to a related CRM component in Wealthbox.

Types of Email Syncs
- Individual Email Sync: Each user can sync their personal email account.
- Shared Email Sync: Under Pro plans, only one shared email address can be synced per workspace. Premier plans can sync up to 3 shared email addresses.
How Email Sync Works
- The sync provides a unified view of client communications by connecting your email account directly to Wealthbox.
- Emails are automatically synced and appear within client contact records based on matching email addresses; those added to the contact record and those in the "To" and "From" fields in the email correspondences.
- You can compose, reply to, and view emails from within Wealthbox or continue using your usual email client.
- Regardless of age, Wealthbox will sync all emails currently in your provider's Inbox, Sent, Trash, and Archive folders. Just so you know, while the emails in these folders will sync, any subfolders or folder structure you create within Inbox, Sent, or Archive will not sync with Wealthbox. The emails in the subfolders will sync to the root Inbox, Sent, Trash, or Archive folder.
Where Emails Appear in Wealthbox
- The main "Email" tab (on the left side of the screen) displays all emails from your synced account.
- "Email" tab within contact records Displays only emails to and from that specific contact. If other users sync with a visibility other than "only me," this is the only place where they will see their synced emails.
To sync your email with Wealthbox Mail:
- In the top-right corner, click the three stacked dots (⋮) and select “Settings.”
- Select "Email" in the sidebar.
- Select "Email Accounts."

Enter your email address.

Choose your preferred email visibility:
- Only Me: You can view your emails.
- Everyone: All workspace users can view emails within contact records. Click Finish.
The sync may take a little time, but once complete you will then be able to see your inbox by navigating to the “Email” page from the left navigation panel.

Q: Is Wealthbox Mail 17a-4 compliant?
A: Wealthbox Mail is not an email hosting provider but a companion mail app, so please refer to your hosting provider (E.g. G Suite, Office 365) for that. Depending on your email host, they might offer a solution that satisfies your requirements, or you could talk with an email compliance provider specifically.
Q: How do I create a Contact using Wealthbox Mail?
A: If a contact is not already within Wealthbox, you can create a new contact by clicking on their name. From there, you can “Create New Contact” and add his or her information to the system:
Q: How do I Re-Sync my Email?
A: If you’re seeing a syncing issue with Wealthbox Mail, you can re-sync your email by navigating to:

- Select "Email Accounts."
- From there, click on the three-dot menu to the right of your email address and select "Re-sync Email":

Q: Does My Drafts Folder Sync with Wealthbox Mail?
A: At this time, the drafts folder does not sync with Wealthbox Mail. Wealthbox only supports syncing for the Inbox, Sent, Trash, and Archive folders (if available), which align with the corresponding folders in your email provider.
Q: Do I need TLS enabled in order to sync Wealthbox Mail?
A: Yes, you need TLS enabled in order to sync with Wealthbox Mail.
Q: What happens if I delete an email in Wealthbox Mail?
A: If you delete an email in Wealthbox Mail, it will sync with your email client and become deleted there as well. To view emails that you have deleted, simply navigate to the “Trash” menu on the left-hand side under “Archive”:
Please note: If you unsync an email address from Wealthbox, all previously synced emails will be removed from Wealthbox. Wealthbox does not store or capture emails—it simply mirrors what exists in your connected email account.
