What should I expect during my data migration planning meeting?

If you are scheduling a data migration planning meeting, here are a few things we will discuss:

  • What CRM will you be migrating from?

  • How many users will be active in Wealthbox?

  • Does the data that will be migrated into Wealthbox include “Legacy” users who will not be active in Wealthbox (eg. notes and activities created by past users)?

  • Will your data require visibility restrictions to prevent users from seeing specific data?

  • Do you have user roles that will need to be created and associated with data? (Client service rep, primary and secondary advisors, etc)

  • Will you require multiple workspaces?

    • Will all data need to be imported into a single workspace or will you need the data to be divided into multiple workspaces based on specific criteria?

  • Do you have specific criteria requests, concerns, or questions for our migration specialists?
