This article explains how to connect Wufoo and Wealthbox CRM using Zapier, so form submissions can automatically create records in Wealthbox. No walkthrough video is currently available for this integration.
What is the Wufoo–Wealthbox integration?
The Wufoo–Wealthbox integration is an automated connection, built through Zapier, between Wufoo (an online form builder for contact forms, surveys, and invitations) and Wealthbox's CRM. It is not a native, built-in integration — it runs through Zapier, a third-party automation platform.
How does it work?
Zapier links the two apps using a trigger (an event in one app) and an action (a resulting event in the other app). For example, when someone submits a Wufoo form, Zapier can automatically create a matching contact in Wealthbox, so you don't have to add new contacts manually every time you receive a submission.

- New Entry — triggers when someone fills out your form. This is a slower version that checks periodically for new entries.
- New Entry (Instant) — triggers when someone fills out your form instantly, using webhooks (these webhooks need to be created manually).
- New Form — triggers when you build a new form.
- New Field — triggers when a new field is added to a form.

Step-by-step setup instructions
- Sign in to Zapier, or create a free account.
- Select Create Zap.
- Choose Wufoo as the trigger app.
- Select a trigger event, such as New Entry or New Entry (Instant).
- Connect your Wufoo account and enter your login credentials when prompted.
- Select the specific form you want Zapier to monitor.
- Choose Wealthbox CRM as the action app.
- Select an action event, such as Create Contact.
- Connect your Wealthbox account and enter your login credentials when prompted.
- Map the fields you want to pass from the Wufoo entry into Wealthbox, such as name, email, and phone number.
- Select Test step to confirm the data passes correctly.
- Turn on the Zap to activate the automation.
Troubleshooting steps
- Issue: Form submissions aren't triggering the Zap. Solution: Confirm the correct form is selected in step 6 and that your Wufoo account is still connected and authorized.
- Issue: The instant trigger isn't firing right away. Solution: The New Entry (Instant) trigger relies on a webhook that must be created manually in Wufoo. If it isn't set up correctly, use the New Entry trigger instead, which checks periodically for new submissions.
- Issue: Fields aren't mapping correctly to Wealthbox. Solution: Revisit the field mapping in step 10 and confirm each Wufoo field is matched to the correct Wealthbox field, especially required fields like Name.
- Issue: The Wealthbox action isn't available to select. Solution: Some triggers, such as Contact Updated, are limited to Premier and Enterprise Wealthbox plans. Confirm your plan level supports the trigger or action you're trying to use.
- Issue: The Zap test fails at the Wealthbox step. Solution: Reconnect your Wealthbox account under the Zap's account settings and confirm all required fields (marked Required) are mapped.

- Can I trigger from Wealthbox instead of Wufoo? Yes. Any Wealthbox trigger, such as New Contact, can be paired with a Wufoo action, such as Create Entry.
- Do I need to know how to code to set this up? No. The setup is done through Zapier's visual builder.
