Overview

This article explains how Max (MaxMyInterest) connects with Wealthbox, so client information can be used to kick off cash management enrollment. No walkthrough video is currently available for this integration.

What is Max?

Max (MaxMyInterest) is a cash management solution for individuals and financial advisors that helps clients earn higher, FDIC-insured yields on their cash. It has a data-sync integration with Wealthbox.

How does it work?

The integration pulls client data from Wealthbox to automatically populate enrollment forms in the Max dashboard. This lets advisors kick off the cash management setup process for a client without re-entering their information manually, while also increasing the accuracy of that client's data in Max.

Step-by-step setup instructions

  1. Confirm you have an active Max account and an active Wealthbox account.
  2. From the Max dashboard, locate the option to connect your Wealthbox account.
  3. Log in with your Wealthbox credentials when prompted, and authorize the connection.
  4. Select the client contact in Wealthbox you want to enroll in Max.
  5. Confirm that the client's information has automatically populated the enrollment form in the Max dashboard.
  6. Review the pre-filled enrollment form for accuracy, then complete the enrollment process in Max.

(Exact menu labels inside Max may differ slightly by account type — refer to Max's own onboarding screens if a labeled step doesn't match what you see.)

Troubleshooting steps

  • Issue: Client data from Wealthbox isn't populating the Max enrollment form. Solution: Confirm the Wealthbox connection is authorized in Max's account settings, and reconnect if needed.
  • Issue: Some client fields are missing or incorrect on the enrollment form. Solution: Check that the corresponding fields are filled in correctly on the client's contact record in Wealthbox, then re-sync the record in Max.
  • Issue: I can't find the client I want to enroll. Solution: Confirm the client exists as a contact in your connected Wealthbox account and that you have permission to view that contact.
