Overview
This article explains how to connect Gravity Forms and Wealthbox CRM using Zapier, so form submissions on your website can automatically create or update records in Wealthbox. No walkthrough video is currently available for this integration.
What is the Gravity Forms–Wealthbox integration?
The Gravity Forms–Wealthbox integration is an automated connection, built through Zapier, between Gravity Forms (a WordPress form-building plugin) and Wealthbox's CRM. It is not a native, built-in integration — it runs through Zapier, a third-party automation platform.
How does it work?
Zapier links the two apps using a trigger (an event in one app) and an action (a resulting event in the other app). For example, when someone submits a specified Gravity Forms form, Zapier can automatically create a matching contact, task, or opportunity in Wealthbox.
Available Gravity Forms triggers
- Form Submission — starts the automation when a specified form is submitted.
Available Gravity Forms actions
- Submit Form — creates an entry and fires all events tied to a form submission, such as notifications and add-on feeds.
- Create Entry — creates a new entry for a specified form.

Troubleshooting steps
- Issue: Form submissions aren't triggering the Zap. Solution: Confirm the correct form is selected in step 6 and that the form has at least one test submission for Zapier to reference during setup.
- Issue: Fields aren't mapping correctly to Wealthbox. Solution: Revisit the field mapping in step 10 and confirm each Gravity Forms field is matched to the correct Wealthbox field, especially required fields like Name.
- Issue: The Wealthbox action isn't available to select. Solution: Some triggers, such as Contact Updated, are limited to Premier and Enterprise Wealthbox plans. Confirm your plan level supports the trigger or action you're trying to use.
- Issue: The Zap test fails at the Wealthbox step. Solution: Reconnect your Wealthbox account under the Zap's account settings and confirm all required fields (marked Required) are mapped.
FAQ
- Can I send new Wealthbox contacts back into a Gravity Forms submission? Yes. A Wealthbox trigger, such as New Contact, can be paired with a Gravity Forms action to create a corresponding entry.
- Do I need to know how to code to set this up? No. The setup is done through Zapier's visual builder.
- Can I connect more than one Gravity Forms form to Wealthbox? Yes. Each automation is set up as its own Zap, so you can create multiple Zaps to cover different forms, triggers, or actions.
