Wealthbox requires each email address to be uniquely associated with a single account at any given time. However, once an account is deleted, the email address tied to it becomes available for reuse. This article explains the rules, exceptions, and steps for reusing your email.
Overview of Email Association Rules
A single email cannot be linked to more than one active Wealthbox account.
If an email is already in use, it cannot be used to create or join another account.
To associate the same person with multiple accounts, an alternate email address must be used.
You may reuse the same email address only after it has been fully removed from all previous accounts and workspaces.
Reusing Your Email Address After Account Deletion
If you want to use your same email with a new Wealthbox account, follow these steps:
Download Your Data
Before deletion, export any data you want to retain from your existing account.
Please note that once cancelled, your account will be permanently closed, and your data will be removed.
Delete Your Existing Account
Go to Settings > Account Management and selecting "Cancel my Subscription".
Create a New Account with the Same Email
Once deletion is finalized, you can register a new Wealthbox account using the same email address.
Summary
- You cannot use the same email for multiple Wealthbox accounts.
- Each account requires a unique email. If needed, consider using alternate emails for individuals needing multiple account associations.
Adhering to these guidelines ensures smooth workspace management and access within Wealthbox.
