Wealthbox's innovative "Send To" feature streamlines the process for Advisors by enabling them to effortlessly send contact details directly to the Raymond James Client Onboarding & Maintenance tool. This integration facilitates the quick creation of new account drafts, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in onboarding new clients.

How to Enable the Integration

  1. In Wealthbox, select the three-dot menu in the upper-right and select Applications. 
  2. Scroll down to Raymond James, then click on Settings on the right. 
    1. Check 'Enable' and Click Save. 
    2. Click the 'Request Raymond James Integration' button, which will send an email directly to Raymond James' team to request the integration. Then, Raymond James' team will contact Wealthbox to finalize the process.
       After completing, you will begin to see the Raymond James tab in your contact records, which houses financial accounts. These steps (1 and 2) on the Applications page must be completed to enable the New Account opening section below.
  3. Click on the Connect button in the "New Account Opening" section.
    Note: The Raymond James New Account Opening integration only works for Raymond James Custodial Services Advisors (RCS).
  4. You will then be prompted to enter their Raymond James credentials and then be redirected back to Wealthbox to enter their Wealthbox credentials. 
  5. Once both sets of credentials have been inputted, the integration will be connected.

How Does the Raymond James Account Opening Integration Work? 

Advisors can use the "Send To" menu from a Contact Record page within Wealthbox to send contact details to Raymond James. This integration lets you create a new Raymond James account draft right from a Wealthbox Contact Record. The client will be imported into the Raymond James Client Onboarding & Maintenance tool.

Q: How are accounts matched between Raymond James and Wealthbox?
A: Accounts are matched using the contact record's Social Security Number (SSN). If no SSN is available, we search by first and last name. 

Q: What kind of Raymond James accounts does this integration support?
A: This integration only works with Raymond James RCS accounts. It does not support other account types at this time.

Q: Where do I access the “Send To” feature in Wealthbox?
A: You’ll find the “Send To” option on a contact record page under the "Contact Details" section in Wealthbox. Use it to send the client’s information directly to Raymond James and start a new account draft.

Q: What credentials do I need to connect the integration?
A: You’ll need to enter both your Raymond James and Wealthbox credentials during the setup process. Once both are confirmed, your accounts will be connected and ready to use.
