The suggested actions feature lets you contact clients directly from Workflow Steps or Tasks in Wealthbox. By creating a workflow step or task with a title that includes "Email" or "Call," you'll automatically see a corresponding "Call" or "Email" action button when opening the task or workflow step. This feature lets you complete the action efficiently and directly from the workflow step or task.

How Suggested Actions Work
Suggested Actions streamline tasks and workflows, adding convenient buttons that allow advisors to make a call or send an email directly from the Workflows or Tasks page. If a task is labeled with prompts like “call” or “email,” advisors can take immediate action without navigating to a different screen. This enhancement simplifies task completion and keeps advisors focused, saving time and improving efficiency in client communications.
For example, if a task such as “Send a follow-up email” is created, Wealthbox displays an “Email” action, enabling advisors to immediately compose and send a message without additional navigation. Similarly, for tasks like “Call client to review portfolio,” the feature prompts a “Call” action, seamlessly connecting advisors to their client contacts.
Adding a Suggested Action to a Task:
- Go to the Tasks tab and create a new task with a title such as "Call Back," ensuring it is related to a contact with a phone number.
-
Save the task.
-
When you're ready to complete the task, click the task name to open a pop-out window with the task details, including a "Call" suggested action.
-
Click the "Call" button and select the desired phone number to initiate the call using Wealthbox's Click-to-Call feature.
- Repeat the same steps with Workflows, including "Call" or "Email" in the title, and associate it with a contact with a phone number or email to see the suggested action on the active workflow step.
