What Does it Mean to Change the “Status” of a Contact Record to “Inactive”?

Changing the "Status" field on a contact record lets you indicate whether a contact is "Active" or "Inactive." Contacts marked as "Inactive" will not trigger notifications for special dates, and setting contacts as "Active" allows you to filter out past or deceased clients from your lists.

To edit a contact's "Status," go to the contact’s profile page, click the *Options* dropdown in the top-right corner, and select *Edit.* Scroll to the bottom of the Edit page to adjust the status, then click the green *Save* button.
