The Apple Calendar Integration

The Apple Calendar and Wealthbox Integration allows Wealthbox events to sync automatically with Apple Calendar in a one-way sync. Events created in Wealthbox appear in Apple Calendar, but changes made in Apple Calendar won’t sync back to Wealthbox. This ensures your events stay organized and accessible across your Apple devices while preserving your Wealthbox data.

Key Features

    • One-Way Sync: Events created in Wealthbox sync automatically to Apple Calendar.
    • Read-Only Access: Events in Apple Calendar are view-only; no edits are made in Apple Calendar that affect Wealthbox.
    • Real-Time Updates: Changes made in Wealthbox reflect in Apple Calendar within minutes.
    • Seamless Access: View Wealthbox events across all your Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

How to Enable the Integration

To sync your Wealthbox calendar with Apple Calendar, follow these steps:

  1. In Wealthbox, click the three dots in the upper right-hand corner and select Applications.
  2. Locate the iCal application and click Settings.
  3. Copy the calendar web address link provided in the Settings section.
  4. Open the Apple Calendar app on your iMac.
  5. Go to File > New Calendar Subscription.
  6. Paste the copied calendar link from Wealthbox into the field and click Subscribe.
  7. Choose a name and color for the calendar.
  8. Set the Auto-refresh option to "Every 5 minutes".
  9. Make any other adjustments to the settings, then click OK.

How Does the Apple Calendar Integration Work?

Once set up, the integration allows for real-time syncing, meaning that events created in Wealthbox automatically appear in Apple Calendar. The data flow is one-way, so while events sync from Wealthbox to Apple Calendar, any changes made in Apple Calendar do not sync back to Wealthbox. Additionally, calendar updates occur at regular intervals, with changes reflecting in Apple Calendar within a few minutes.

Please note, this calendar will be in a read-only format, so while you can view it in Apple Calendar, you won’t be able to make edits.
