How do I downgrade my subscription plan?

Wealthbox makes it easy to update your subscription plan directly within your account, so you can seamlessly switch to a plan that better fits your team’s needs. This article will guide you through the process and highlight what to do if you don’t see the option to change your plan.


Some users may not see the option to downgrade their plan if they are under a specific commitment or agreement. In this case, please reach out to support@wealthbox.com.

 

Downgrading your Wealthbox plan

  1. Log in to Wealthbox.

  2. In the top-right corner, click the three stacked dots (⋮) and select “Settings.”

  3. Click on Billing.

  4. Click “Change” next to “Current Plan”.

Preparing for downgrade: adjustments needed due to feature loss

  • Email Sync: Basic plans do not have the Wealthbox mail feature. Before you can downgrade to the Basic plan, please make sure all users disconnect their email sync; otherwise, you will receive an error message instructing you to remove all email syncs.

    To disconnect your email sync: Click the three stacked dots (⋮) in the top-right corner > Settings> Email> Email Accounts page. On this page, you should be able to click on the three dots to the far right of the email that you are trying to disconnect and in the drop-down menu you should have the option to "Disconnect".

  • Custom Homepages: If you added a custom homepage under a Premier plan, you will need to reset the homepage layout to the default view prior to downgrading. 
    You can do that on the "Homepage Layout" page, there is a reset layout button off to the right. Once reset, you should be able to downgrade. To access the Home Page Layout page, click the three stacked dots (⋮) in the top-right corner > Settings > Customizations > Homepage Layout.
