Overview

Whether you are an independent financial advisor or running a large enterprise effort, eMoney’s integrated solutions help you meet the evolving needs of your clients—from basic to complex. The Wealthbox integration allows users to access Wealthbox data from eMoney for easy account look-up.

Key features of the integration

  • Single Sign-on: The integration features single sign-on capabilities allowing advisors to quickly transition between their eMoney application and Wealthbox.
  • 2-way Contact sync: You can sync contacts two ways between applications, ensuring the consistency and accuracy of your client’s information. That means you can import a new client to eMoney to avoid doubling your data entry efforts or sync an existing client with their Wealthbox profile to ensure the accuracy of their information. Keep in mind, that when you import contacts from Wealthbox or on the initial link in eMoney, the info from Wealthbox will override the fields populated in eMoney. In other words, if you have details populated in eMoney, but not in Wealthbox, the eMoney fields will be cleared to match the fields coming from Wealthbox.

How to enable the integration

Cambridge users: Advisors should contact Cambridge’s Brokerage Technology Team at brokeragetech@cir2.com to set up the eMoney/CLIC integration.

LPL and Advanta users: At this time, the LPL and Advanta versions of eMoney are not supported for integration with Wealthbox.

Log into eMoney:

  1. From the Integrations drop-down, click View All Integrations.

  2. Select "Wealthbox"
  3. Click the green "Turn On" button

  4. You will be re-directed to Wealthbox and prompted to enter your Wealthbox credentials. Click Log in to Wealthbox.

  5. Once you have successfully logged in you will be taken to your Wealthbox platform. To start importing Wealthbox Clients click Manage Clients in the top right. If you are not ready to import Clients just yet, click Go back to eMoney.

  • Note: When you import contacts from Wealthbox or on the initial link in eMoney, the info from Wealthbox will override the fields populated in eMoney. In other words, if you have details populated in eMoney, but not in Wealthbox, the eMoney fields will be cleared to match the fields coming from Wealthbox.
  • If a contact record exists in Wealthbox, eMoney will prompt you to create the contact or link to an existing contact in eMoney.

How does the integration work?

The fields supported in the integration between eMoney and Wealthbox are:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Gender
  • Date of Birth
  • Marital Status
  • Home Address
  • Email Address(es)
  • Spouse Email Address(es)

Please note that in order for the Spouse fields to pull over, the original contact and their spouse must be part of the same household and set as "Head" and "Spouse" respectively.

Import Clients

  1. To import a Wealthbox Client into eMoney, click Clients then click Manage Integration Clients and select Wealthbox.

  1. Toggle the switch next to the primary Client or household.

  1. Click Import as New Client, very the contact information then click Import Client. Note that this will create a new Client profile in eMoney.

 


Link Clients

  1. To link a Wealthbox Client to an existing eMoney Client click Clients then click Manage Integration Clients and select Wealthbox.

  1. Toggle the switch next to the primary Client or household.

  1. Click Link to Existing Client. Use the search field to find the existing eMoney Client, select their name from the results, then click Link Client.

 

Single Sing-on

 To SSO into the Wealthbox platform, click Integrations then click Wealthbox.

 After accessing Wealthbox from eMoney, you should see a "Back to eMoney" option in the upper left corner as shown in the screenshot below.

1. To SSO into a specific Wealthbox Client profile, navigate to the Client Overview page, click the Client name in the top left corner, and click View in Wealthbox. You will be directed to the Client details page in Wealthbox.
