What is the AdvicePay integration?
AdvicePay handles billing and payments for fee-for-service advisory businesses. The Wealthbox integration lets you send client info from Wealthbox to AdvicePay, automatically creating clients. This streamlines operations and expands billing options. Once linked, you can quickly access a client’s Wealthbox profile from AdvicePay or use “Send To” in Wealthbox to create clients in AdvicePay.
How does the integration work?
- Use "Send To" from the Contact Record page in Wealthbox to create clients in AdvicePay. Once created, they are linked between the two systems, so any future "Send To" will direct you to that client in AdvicePay.
- AdvicePay users will also benefit from a link back to Wealthbox for any linked clients. With one click, you can return to that client’s Contact Record page in Wealthbox.
How to enable the integration
- Select the three dots (:) in the upper-right, then select "Settings".
- Locate "AdvicePay" on the list, and select "Settings" to the right.
- On the AdvicePay applications page, click the "Connect AdvicePay" button to authorize Wealthbox for your firm.
- Once the integration is enabled, you can "Send to" AdvicePay from a Contact Record page in Wealthbox to create a client in AdvicePay.

- An activity stream post will be created in Wealthbox that shows the client has been created in AdvicePay. Clicking the link will allow the user to go directly to that client’s page.

- AdvicePay users will also benefit from a link back to Wealthbox for any clients they have linked. With one click, you can return to that client’s Contact Record page in Wealthbox.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Q: Where will I see the notes created by AdvicePay?
A: Notes created by AdvicePay will be available in the Activity Stream of the contact you sent to AdvicePay.
Issue: What if I get an error when clicking "Send To" for a client?
Solution: Please get in touch with Wealthbox Support, and our team can review any errors you receive.
Issue: What if I don't see AdvicePay in the Send-To menu?
Solution: If advicePay isn't showing in your Send-To menu, ensure the integration is fully enabled by following the setup guide above, as the connection might not have been authorized correctly.
