Enable Fidelity Wealthscape File Feed integration

The file feed integration between Wealthbox and Wealthscape allows users to view account details for a Wealthscape client from the Contact Record page in Wealthbox.

Please note: The Fidelity integration does not import contacts into Wealthbox. You will need to import or create the contacts in Wealthbox manually in order for their Fidelity accounts to appear in the system.

How to enable the account integration in Wealthbox

From the three-dot menu in the top right corner of Wealthbox click on "Applications", then click the "Settings" button for the Fidelity application as shown in the below screenshot.

Your "Customer Type" will be set to "Custody" by default. If you are a clearing client, update your customer type to clearing and click the "Save" button.

Instructions for Custody Clients

The following instructions are for enabling the file feed integration for Fidelity custody clients. If you are a clearing client with Fidelity, please see the instructions for clearing clients below.

On the Fidelity application page:

  1. Click the "File Feed" tab

  2. Click the "Sign in to Fidelity Wealthscape" button to sign in to Wealthscape and follow the below instructions to enable in Fidelity Wealthscape.

  3. Once step two above is complete, enable the integration and click the "Save" button

How to enable the integration in Fidelity Wealthscape

Wealthbox users can view account information for Wealthscape clients on the Contact Record page in Wealthbox via the configuration of a nightly file feed to Wealthbox from Fidelity.

To enable the integration, advisors must complete and submit the "Outbound Transmission Request" form within Wealthscape, and share a copy of the completed form with support@wealthbox.com.

To access the form:

  1. Go to the Wealthscape “Menu” and select “Forms Library”

  2. Search for “Outbound Transmission Request” and click the “Go” button

  3. Select the “Outbound Transmission Request” form

  4. Complete and submit the Outbound Transmission Request form through the Wealthscape Service Center.

Note, in Section 2:

  1. Enter “Wealthbox” in the “Fintech Name” field

  2. Enter your G Number in the “Client Header Name” field

Additionally, individual advisors must request that Wealthbox enable their G Number in order to see account information within Wealthbox. From Wealthbox:

  1. Go to the three-dot menu in the upper right, and click “Applications”

  2. Locate the Fidelity application and click the “Settings” button

  3. Click the "Submit G Numbers to Wealthbox" button

  4. For the email message that appears, complete the details and send it

Once the form has been approved by Fidelity, submit a copy to support@wealthbox.com so that the appropriate G Number/s can be enabled for your users within Wealthbox.

FAQ

Can I submit requests for multiple reps and multiple G Numbers using the same form?

You can do this by utilizing the “Additional Instructions” field and requesting that each G Number be added separately to the feed.

Instructions for Clearing Clients

The following instructions are for enabling the file feed integration for Fidelity clearing clients. If you are a custody client with Fidelity, please see the instructions for custody clients above.

On the Fidelity application page:

  1. Click the "File Feed" tab

  2. Follow steps 2 and 3 on the File Feed tab to work with your Fidelity representative to complete the appropriate forms.

  3. Once step two above is complete, enable the integration and click the "Save" button.
